7. The only reason to not put either Ziminski or his wife on the stand

and dropping their charges in exchange for testimony, is that their testimony would not have helped. They both are facing multiple misdemeanors and a felony arson charge. The prosecution could have easily dropped those and offered immunity for testimony. Especially for a double homicide trial. But they didn't. Instead they decided to hinge their entire prosecution on a blurry still image of a video. Instead of calling up the man they claimed Rittenhouse pointed his gun at to testify as such, or his wife who likely would have witnessed it, they instead just pinned it all on a single image. Makes zero sense unless they knew the Ziminski's would not have been helpful to their case.
