outright lies about various things. So in order to fit Ruby into the "lone nut madman" Oswald theory of the assassination they turn Ruby into some sort of romantic figure who killed because of his love for Kennedy.

I did not see your thread but Ruby was involved with the mob for decades. For those who doubt that, they can go to a library archive which has the Chicago Tribune. Ruby was involved in the killing of a reform Scrap Iron and Junk Handlers Union official whose union the mob had targeted to take over. On December 9, 1939 there is a picture of Ruby (his name was Rubinstein -- he changed it to Ruby when he went south to Dallas) and a article about his arrest in the shooting on the front page of the Tribune. Ruby did mob work in Chicago for 10 more years and then went to Dallas to work in mob businesses there.
