(6,448 posts)22. My booster will be this Wednesday afternoon.
I have already started to drink an extra bottle of water or Gatorade-zero each day. I have a six pack of 7-up for Thursday and Friday just in case my stomach feels queasy. I will be getting the Pfizer just like my first two shots. With those first two I had a headache and sore arm. Also the second shot left me feeling very sleepy for following two days. I won't be touching the injection site and will do the arm exercises as suggested by several DU earlier this year.

My moderna booster gave me flu-like symptoms from 12 to 24 hours after the shot

Pfizer.... sick in bed day following injection....fever, body's aches, headaches. Next day, fine

My arm was excruciatingly painful for 2 days after my booster, but otherwise no problems.
