64. Kicked my fucking ass. (Moderna.)

Still is.

After my second shot I felt fine for about a day, and on the second day it was “BOOM yer done, Iggo.” Second half of the second day and a full night feeling like I had the flu. Next day I felt exhausted, but that was it.

This time I got my shot just after noon and I barely had time for a late lunch. Come 2:45 I was down for the count. Fever. Chills. Body aches. The whole nine yards. Thought I might sleep through the worst of it again, but no such luck. Woke up at 4:45am with severe flu symptoms, even worse than earlier. Tylenol and what felt like a half gallon of water later, hit the sack again until it was time to call my supervisor to tell him I was fucked for today.

And it’s basically been like that all day (it’s 5:25pm pacific time right now.) I’ve been in and out of consciousness, taking my dope every 6 hours, forcing down a few slices of bread, and then back to bed.

If I didn’t work from home I’d probably call in tomorrow, too. But I think I should be ready to go.
