Republicans can gerrymander and fine tune the voting rules as much as they want, but there may eventually be a critical mass of both Democratic AND Republican voters whom get fed enough to at least toss out the extremists pushing these laws and restoring some kind of sanity to their states. Overturning and outlawing Roe (and if they continue on their destructive path of going after more and more individual rights like birth control) could be the catalyst for throwing a lot of Republicans out of office (one would hope)
