The study found that conservatives, by a wide margin, fear a host of things, loss of white privilege, immigrants, gun rights taken away, Democrats, China and far more. The study concluded that R politicians (and Fox-type media) do regularly instill fear in their constituents in order to maintain power and win at the ballot box. We liberals have far less inclinations to fear almost everything than the right does and even wonder why these folks accept these often ludicrous positions. Repetitive stoking of these ideas is what works with R voters.
