It's just going to be a group of men and women who aren't as fast/strong as the more elite Class 1 athletes. And people generally aren't going to care about the Class 2 competitions.
When it's divided between male and female, you get more interest. People might be willing to see who the fastest woman is. But they aren't really going to care who the fastest person who can't run the mile under 4:30 is.
