dangerous person that I have ever witnessed, meaning that I don't know him personally, have never met him in person, but have seen and heard him and the consequences of his words and actions.
I know that there are other people who are ill, sadistic, and dangerous, but I don't know them and have not witnessed them in action.
Toward the end of the 2016 election, I read a book about Trump's life. I don't remember the title or authors. There were two. They were both Washington Post reporters.
The authors interviewed dozens of people who knew Trump and his family. They covered his father, mother, and grandparents. Among those interviewed were his childhood neighbors and classmates, military school classmates and instructors, college classmates, former employees and businesses that had done business with him, etc.
Two things stand out in my memory from that book. One is that a neighbor of the Trumps said she had her baby in a playpen outdoors when, just in time, she discovered Trump about to throw a brick at the baby. Ttump was 5 years old.
The other thing was that, in his teens, Trump used to sneak into Manhattan at night to hang out with some thug friends. They vandalized vending machines and other properties. They beat up people for sport. If I remember correctly, police were involved a few times and Fred was able to smooth things over, through contacts from Fred's business dealings or through money, or both.
Eventually, when Fred could not keep his son from meeting up with his thug pals, he sent Donald to a militsry acsdemy, hoping thsat the discipline there would straighten him out.
