11. Why would they do that...what is in it for us Reach some sort of compromise and vote next year.

While rushing around sticking it to Manchin may seem like a good idea, it is not... a moment of satisfaction...a fleeting moment. A far better solution would be to find a compromise. If it is true that Manchin will vote for a bill without the child credit and paid family leave, then let's do it. There is good stuff in that bill including universal Pre-K...other stuff too. Let not the perfect become the enemy of the good. And attacking Manchin could drive him to switch parties which means no more judges. Priorities folks...let use our heads and make the best of this situation. In the end, it moves us forward.
