Potential ovarian cancer should NOT be considered elective surgery. Tell them your heirs have directions to sue everyone responsible for this if you don't make it due to the delay. If need be, get a lawyer to follow up with a letter on letterhead.
You could also ask your insurer to send you out of network to a different hospital under these circumstances.
My provider sent me out of network when there was a year-long wait for surgery needed to protect my visiion (one doctor had left and the other was backlogged).
I hope you can get the procedure soon. I don't think anybody here wants to see vaxxed and boosted people suffer with COVID, though this is frustration against anti-vaxxers and anti-maskers.
