I don't recall hearing it expressed as no big deal, but i don't watch & read everything.

It is more often mild for those who are vaccinated, it is still a killer for the unvaxxed.

I've seen it referred to as "milder" on several news programs. So "mild" was probably inferred.

My point was that it is deadly, but not to the same extent as the Delta variant.
