(7,653 posts)69. I am coming more from the organizational aspect. People who have an interest in gauging how long
it takes to organize or foment a demonstration, a blockade, a march...whatever. How many might show up. How far will they go.
I have no doubt that in a real confrontation these people would be removed pretty quickly. But I also think that there are those who just want to see how far things will go and learn what they can expect in the future.
Every type of act like this is a dress rehearsal for something else.
It started a long time ago.
