Unscrew the tube top cap and squeeze the paste out on a small plate and replace the top cap.
Cut the tube bottom off with scissors just above the end.
With a blunt knife, spread the two sides apart to open the tube at the bottom.
Scrap the paste off the plate with the knife and scoop it into the tube from the bottom.
With needle nosed pliers squeeze the bottom ends back together and push the paste to the tube top.
With the pliers, hold the bottom together about 1/4” up from the tube end.
Use a lighter to melt the plastic until it gets very soft (caution, do not touch the hot plastic).
Move the pliers down to squeeze the hot ends together and hold until cool. You may fold the ends a little to insure a tight seal.
The toothpaste is back in the tube and ready for use.
Caution do not breath the hot plastic fumes. Well, maybe just a little at the end.
