What it shows is how slow change is. Note that the results have an uncertainty of 4 percentage points, so although the numbers are worse than 4 years ago, they haven't changed by a statistically significant amount. Which I guess is good news in the face of the cover Tea Party idiocy has given racist attitudes over the past few years - it hasn't yet had a measurable negative large-scale effect.
