In reply to the discussion: Unless Meat Loaf said something nasty about Obama, I can't stop liking him. [View all]krawhitham
(5,072 posts)64. I completely disagree
Jim Steinman was the Genius Of Bat Out Of Hell, and the Genius Of Bat Out Of Hell II
Bat Out Of Hell II sold more copies and won a Grammy, Jim Steinman wrote and produced the 2nd album
Bat Out Of Hell III bombed horrible because Jim Steinman was not involved. Yes Meat did cover some of Jim's songs (seven), but Jim was not involved in the making of the album
Bat Out Of Hell I sold 14 million copies
Bat Out Of Hell II sold 20 million copies
Bat Out Of Hell III sold 500,000 copies
That said Jim Steinman never had more success than when he was teamed with Mr Aday

OP
Never liked him, he's a clown. Not a major figure in music, not even close.

What is it you "like" about Clint "as a person"? That he was vile to Sondra Locke? His 7 kids by 5

He's trying to help Romney get ELECTED. Don't see how anyone here could still like him.
