14. Western Democracies Are Rotting From The Political Corruption

In America it is the dark money from Citizens United. The UK must have something similar.

Being only slightly less corrupt than a country like Russia is no consolation. Corruption is one of the largest problems the world has politically, but the answer is not to lurch rightward as that is where the problem originated from. Will Putin invading Ukraine finally be the straw that broke the camel's back where political reform actually fixes the problem? Probably not.
