5. I agree with the spirit of your post, but NYC has been hit by hurricanes many times.

I'm from Long Island, currently live in Westchester. Have lived through hurricanes a bunch of times since the 1970s.

That said: we have plenty of other evidence that climate change is real, and of COURSE it should be an issue during this election, and all the time!
