US troops in WWII did NOT go around germany and tie up civilians and execute them.

There was one instance of a US command that executed captured German soldiers, but that was after the Germans had executed US soldiers who had surrendered.

As for bombing civilians... precision guided munitions dropped from the air were an unknown thing in WWII... as were guided missiles.

Putin and the Russians are targeting civilians... after invading the country. There is no equivalency on the Ukraine side... and it is wrong to claim that because in some other war fought by other nations... that this is somehow OK for the Russians to commit war crimes.
