77. I don't have and never have had a twitter account nor have I used any twitter app

but can still read embedded tweets here. You can also go to the tweet source's "web version" (which is what I do with the news and state/municipal twitter sites to read their info).

For example, DU's twitter account "web" version is here - https://twitter.com/demunderground

In some cases, depending on your browser, you may need to turn off some ad blockers and/or play around with the "private browsing" features to view an embedded tweet, but basically, unless you want to go further into a twitter "thread" in some cases, no account is needed.
