I am basically agreeing with you.

I am not just going to say that two fictional people without defining their backstories are this or that. But what I do know is that women need to be represented in our government at the very least on par with their portion of the population.

Yes women have been put through the absolute shit since the beginning of time. That is the baseline understanding of the world as it relates to women in its history. That part is not lost on me.
