13. Oh I think it would be advisable for us to call one

This may make some feel uncomfortable & awkward here but the truth is the truth.

The Constitution is an outdated document written by white landowning men who owned people as property and are responsible for the mass genocide of First Nations people, my ancestors. This country's Constitution is incredibly out of date and despite trying to update it with amendments, nothing ever happens. We're ruled by a document that was written 100s of years ago & applying those laws to today is a study in stupid. It's a racist piece of paper that has no place in society today. None. And that's being reflected right now all across this country to the extreme. And that extremism is exactly why we don't have healthcare in this country, why gay marriage happened from a civil case, and why women are facing the reality of their civil rights being rolled back to 1890.

I firmly believe that if Democrats ever get to the 34 state threshold that they should immediately seize the opportunity and and have a Constitutional Convention. We need laws which protect the most vulnerable instead of wealthy white men who exploits their labor that they built their fortune on. We need to ensure that education, healthcare, housing, & utilities are all human rights as soon as humanly possible. We need to ensure that the civil rights of women and POC are protected at all costs.

I could write a novel on this.
