2. I am totally opposed to the death penalty in all cases.

The state should not be executing anyone. Period. Innocent people have been executed. If only one innocent person is killed out of 1000 guilty ones, that is far too many.

Imprison people who commit heinous crimes for life. Let them rot in prison and consider why they are there for the rest of their lives.

Don't just kill them. That is too easy and too ugly for our society to do.
