It made me think of a woman who worked in my office for years. Very competent and smart but no formal education so she worked as a receptionist. She often did other peoples work for them who were incompetent. She had a bad back and fiber myalgia. I know it was hard on her physically. She got an early retirement (govt job with previous army service). I talk to her once in awhile. She barely gets by financially but is always so greatful not to have to go into work every day. Hope it goes well for your niece.
