This was not the movies or a tv series. The killings was within seconds. Incident command system not just run in willy nilly. These scenarios are military operations and need to be treated as such. Our police system is not a military operation. No one would want militarization of our police forces. Scapegoating and coulda, woulda, and shoulda go with the anger after these types of events. That anger needs to be directed at change. Beto is right and the other democrats need to find a backbone and stand up to the GOP/ NRA to get the job done. The republicans always say do it later so they can get by with covering up and people lose focus. The reform needs to be now not later or it will not happen and we will once again be faced with another tragedy.
