This country needs a divorce.... [View all]

No matter who wins, we will still have two Americas.....
The unscientific, militaristic, fact-challenged, low information, Fox watching, (mostly) rural...

and... the rest of us.

Mostly science based, peace-oriented, fact-oriented, high information, MSNBC (or Link) watching, (mostly) urban/suburban.

Watching the storm reports, it struck me tonight for the 4,837th time that when this election is over, we'll still have two Americas.

Those fucking people are not going to go away... ever. They have been emboldened by creatures - far, far to the right of Rmoney - to say the most outlandish things and feel that they are not only correct, but superior.

We need a divorce. Time to sit down with the lawyers, divide up the property and assets, and start new lives free of each other.

This is a sick marriage... let's end it now.
