We also watch plenty of content via streaming that is ad free but subscription based. We watch less and less content on regular network television. It was mostly because the shows on the regular networks have not caught our interest. At the moment, there is only one ‘once-weekly’ show that I continue to watch. Just had the finale. Next season, Fall of ‘22, it is it’s final season, 13 episodes and it’s done. I just haven’t bothered to get into anything else. We like food channel, and PBS when we discover something educational.

There are very few corners of the telecom world where we can hide away from commercialism. I remember many years ago when FM radio was gaining in popularity. Back then, the ‘selling point’ for having FM stations was because they were to have fewer ads than AM. Yes, your listening experience was going to be all about the content of music.
