6. I learned a lot in the last two days watching culture war issues

Relevant to S. Florida and discussions here on DU. If his background is strong in the Cuban American culture then he is influenced by a cultural acceptance of authoritarianism. Which means that what we’re seeing is the merging of the worst of two cultures. Trumpism + whatever translates to Trumpism in the Cuban American culture. Maybe something to do with Bautista.

Wish we had an expert to look into this. I grew up in Latin America and I thought Trump was hitting the same notes as a banana Republican leader. And then De Santis shows up and says, hold my beer.
