I don't have it in me to hold on to hate. (Well, tRump, but he's working everyone's last nerve.)
IF the Royals went away and were no longer involved in politics, I'd consider it a win IF they were not replaced by power hungry rich people working much worse machinations.
At least the Royals have a smidgen of scruples, or QE2 does have some anyway.
I guess I am saying, be careful what you wish for. The results could be worse than what was there before.
I've got some Irish in me, but not enough apparently to outright hate the Royals. I do hope and pray the best for Ireland because it still manages to rise about the fray quite often and amaze with it's resilience and love of freedom. I feel a lot of the strength I have in me washed down my DNA strands from that side of the pond.
