24. I guess my hope is in the continious arch toward justice is getting to the good part.

From the Crown having the power to execute at will, to being a figurehead is progress, I'd say.

From the days when minorities could be banned from positions to where they are being actively hired in 1990 despite ongoing issues, still progress.

From the time when there was a Church of England and it ruled everyone's life, so the Pilgrims took a hike to more progressive attitudes of today.

And YES it's not enough and the younger generations are leaving the family biz. But even those who stay might find more courage to do better and make real reparations. It's a hope, but if they have eyes to see and ears to hear, they might just surprise us.

STILL we need to keep supplying the kind of allies that make that possible, Biden vs 45. Zelensky vs Putin.

When the US is stronger we can demand more of our allies.
