Current laws about age requirments remain in effect for shotguns or other hunting related firearms.
5 Years without any convictions for a crime to buy an AR-15 or similar "weapon of war" ?

Seems simple enough to me.
(The 5 years guarantees no one under the age of 21 can buy an AR-!5. and falls in with several other laws already in effect not related to firearms)
