I wish I were confident those at the top will face serious consequences, but I'm not. I hope I'm wrong, but Bush took the country to war based on a lie & nothing was done about that. I worry our side has a reverence for the office of the presidency & somehow think that holding presidents accountable taints that office. We also have terrible fear of being accused of being partisan. What I do know is that if the shoe were on the other foot & a dem president had lied to take us to war it would have been impeachment time. If they win the House this fall, does anyone think that they won't impeach Biden? And if they win the Senate, too, Biden's toast. And then they'll come after Harris.

Every voter who turned out in 2020 better turn out this fall. And young people better get off their phones & show up.
