A contempt proceeding won't change that fact. The material would be tied up all the way to the SC which, now with even with a less conservative majority, has rejected similar claims in the past.
Arresting these perps for lesser crimes isn't what contempt charges are designed for. They are to compel testimony and the release of info, like in the Navarro arrest. His documents weren't considered privileged by the courts and the DOJ arrest was a fruitful exercise of justice, mainly because of the evidence they obtained was not bound by claims of privilege, and can be used against Meadows and others for something more than a misdemeanor.
But do go on about how much Schiff knows about the DOJ's priorities in their ongoing investigation.
