28. We live within ten miles of the original nursing home outbreak.

Honestly we didn’t know what to do. There was grabbing staples as though we’d never leave the house again. There was NOT leaving the house for a long time, and monitoring all the local hospitals and nursing homes and freaking out. Then the vaccine and a long, slow climb back into the world, nervous as cats but trying.

I guess we just keep trying. ❤️
