Remember when people thought smoking anywhere they felt like it was okay, drunk driving wasn't a big deal, and thirteen year old girls married the older guys who got them pregnant?

Yeah, like that.

Personally, I've no use for polls. I'd rather live on the bleeding edges of progress and I've seen a lot of progress in my lifetime, some of it hard won.

The reality of the U.S.A. is that most people don't care enough about guns to bother owning one. The only way to sell more guns in this market is to sell more guns to freaks with gun fetishes.

Eventually people are going to realize that the second amendment is bullshit and it's always been bullshit, just like a lot of other crap our "founding fathers" wrote into the Constitution.
