Last night Lawrence O'Donnell was almost coming unglued pointing out that Pence should have acted publicly long before and that keeping quiet enabled the January 6 plot to move forward.
Afraid here also. Our institutions have all along have demonstrated the strength and resilience to withstand, including in people on the right we'd given up expecting it from, but we need it above all in the people.
Side note in that our Next Door, usually with little political spouting off, was chock full this morning of angry political haranguing, virtually all angry RW delusion since this is a deep-red GA county. But, I took it as indication that the hearings are not being ignored and shrugged at. Before, the subject was mostly determinedly moved on from.
