would have lain with those who were manipulating that mob - mobs don't think, particularly this one, but there was organisation behind it - previous recon, dirty money - it's all coming out. The coup was very well organised, and that mob of rubes and idiots were simply a tool. IF they had got their hands on Pelosi and Pence, they would have been forced to retain them, keep them alive, as hostages. At that point, the organisers (Repubs) would be holding a pretty full hand.

No - I'm not naive nor stupid. Mob behaviour has not changed in thousands of years - look for the real danger, that people behind the mob.
