43. I urge the nation not to repeat the mistake of the civil war.

We did not hang Lee or Davis. In fact we punished not one!
For the next 160 years the south celebrated the civil war and still does. They celebrate with their flag of treason and statues of dead losers. They have also spent the last 160 years terrorizing Black Americans.
We need to learn from that mistake.
