We also have an ICE truck. It mostly sits in the driveway though. The EV is getting us here and there except for longer range trips.

Gas around here is $6.29 for premium, which is what I'd be putting in my car if I hadn't replaced it with an EV. Lucky timing when the pandemic hit and before the supply issues were a thing. Really lucky all around because the demand was there for my used ICE car.

We get to go to two funerals out of state next week, and we get to take the truck. it'll be at least 4 tanks of gas to get there and back.

If I could afford it, I'd replace the truck with a Ford EV. But this was likely the last truck we'll buy, and it really does sit in the driveway unless we need to haul something to/fro or take an out-of-state trip. Dh used to take his truck on mini-errands on the weekend. Now it's really rare to do so.
