It's been downhill for them for a long time now.

Who could have guessed they would run a candidate worse than Bush, Jr.?

We get Palin.

Who could have guessed they would run a candidate worse than Palin?

We get Romney.

Who could they possibly run that is worse than Romney?

We get ??????
