California, Nevada, Arizona, etc. have large areas that are not as populated as Spain is per square mile of the region. Of course I'm aware of the devastation to cities and even wine country in CA.

You're doing a good job of diverting attention from the story. I admitted my mistake. Can anyone tell me how one changes their thread title?
