9. Don't talk to cops except to ask these two questions and make one statement;

1) Am I being detained?

2) Am I free to go?

3) I don’t answer questions.


As much as I drive, my interactions with law enforcement are minimal, but I know what to say as well as what not to say. EVERY SINGLE QUESTION a cop asks is an attempt to gather incriminating evidence against you. NEVER answer questions like “Where are you going/headed?” Or “Where are you coming from?”

Just answer “I do not care to discuss my day with you.”
