The woman's dead and people are still blaming her for our lot in life. She had a brilliant legal mind and was a trailblazer for women in this country. She worked to advance the rights of not just women, but all Americans, literally her entire life. She was a hero.
The pro-choice position is that women should have autonomy over their own bodies and their own lives. But the argument here is that she should've retired when we say she should've?!? Please tell me I'm not the only one who sees the irony here. Look, I get that the timing of her death was inconvenient for us. I'm thinking it was for her and her family as well.
There's plenty of blame to go around but this isn't on RBG. Get off her back, FFS.
