about this election and every single election afterwards. We literally cannot afford to lose ground.

I made another post on a previous thread basically saying that the steps toward losing Roe started the moment Jimmy Carter lost re-election. Each lost election was a step toward overturning Roe.

Each time we can't get enough pro-choice Democrats, or even lost seats, in the Senate and House was a step toward losing Roe.
Each time we lost to Reagan, GHW Bush, W Bush, and Trump was a step toward overturning Roe. Two of these people only served 1 term. That 1 four-year term was too long. That 1 term allowed each of them to turn back 50 years of progress. That one term for each of them now equates to nearly half the Court. That happens with every issue you care about. Whoever sat out an election and they also care about abortion, they just cost themselves 50 years of progress because they sat the election just one time. That could apply to 2016, and also 2014, and also 2012, and 2010. Sitting out just one of these elections got us to this point.

Every single election counts. The one election you sit out was the pivotal election that reversed the most important thing you stood for whether that be climate change, abortion, LGBT rights, or whatever else.
