I get the differentiation, and I share your disdain for simply saying it about $.
However, make no mistake, the people who pour billions and billions into buying the GOP, funding all of the "conservative" media outlets, etc, it is about $ to them 100%. But, that is the just the top .00005%.
And, $ drives this shit.
BUT, to everyone else (the marks) it is the "ideology."
