8. I think the only way 3rd parties become a viable option is run off voting.

THEN if candidates in the 2 main parties seem unappealing, you can put one of the 3rd party candidates in as first choice.

IF somehow they win, great, 3rd party becomes more mainstream.

IF not, you still get the less of 2 evils from the 2 party system.

BUT still accumulating numbers that show viability for the 3rd parties potential success.
