8. Military parades with live ammo?

In the Marine Corps I was in, if you had live rounds outside of training areas, your young ass was grass, and in a parade...? Never happen.
I always thought it was because some disgruntled grunt had ammo, he'd take out the Colonel for making us stand in the sun in dress uniforms for hours.
