We have a politics-in-money problem, not money-in-politics. Business is “cheating”, naturally corrupt. (“For you, I make no profit!”) it’s acceptable.

Lawmakers are supposed to be truthful.


Politicians sticking their nose in business markets is the problem. The permanent laws they create don’t regulate, they steer money in a corrupt way to business that ultimately favors them—through donations or grandstanding popularity. They aren’t helping business, they’re speed bumps.
