(9,035 posts)19. Old saying, "You can't tell a book by it's cover".
On the surface, Walker looked good...well known, and liked, former football star at University of Georgia and in the NFL. Plus it would be a black man vs a black man race, so they expected him to get the white Republican vote and split the black vote.
Unfortunately when they opened the book, the story was a dud. Too many serious issues, and the inability to put two sentences together in a coherent manner.
I think the Republicans are having buyer's remorse.
Walker is just going to keep shooting himself in the foot, right up until the election.
Predicted result: Warnock dumps Walker for a big loss on 4th and long.
