1. There were a couple of really good articles from 2019-20 on it

One was an interview with a Pentecostal minister in Arizona who is conservative, but in 2020 said he wouldn't vote for Trump. But, he said many in his congregation see themselves a Christians first and Hispanics second. So, they vote Republican because of this.
They don't seem to care that many Republicans see them as Hispanic first and Christian second... or third... or whatever.
The Cubans and Venezuelans I do understand because of their homeland situation. I carry little sympathy for some of them because they/family members were part of the Bautista government, or aided criminal organizations in Cuba, were parts of paramilitary groups in Venezuela, etc.
But, they're mad because they lost everything
