In reply to the discussion: Pennsylvania Senate Race: Fetterman leads Oz in new poll [View all]peggysue2
(12,531 posts)24. Right now the dynamics have really shifted for us
Not only do we have great candidates but the argument Republicans expected to make are starting to fizzle--gas prices and inflation markers. Add that to the rout we saw in Kansas on abortion, the unexpected job numbers and the inflation reduction bill passage?
We're on a definite roll. You can feel the enthusiasm mounting.
I haven't been following Beasley's race but I know Cortez Mastro (though close, between 3-6 pts depending on the poll) is expected to pull it out. I've even been hearing wails about how profoundly unpopular Ron Johnson is in Wisconsin. And that recent poll in Florida? Stunning. Made me happy, too, bc I really like Val Demings.
Still 90 days out but we have a genuine shot here.

So TDFG's idea of having celebs run for senate seats so far is going down in flames.

Exactly, Trump think these folks are like him and hopefully has endorsed an entire slate of losers.

Couldn't agree more. His stature, goatie & gentle demeanor remind me of Lincoln.

You can pretty much gauge what the state of the race is when Republicans . . .

Everything is crossed. I wish we could see some numbers for the House...I think we can win there.

I think so too! I am hopeful after Kansas. But still, we need all hands on deck.
